Regional Traffic Operations Program
The Georgia Department of Transportation identified the need to increase the performance of key regionally significant corridors within the Metropolitan Atlanta Region. To accomplish this effort, GDOT created the Regional Traffic Operations Program (RTOP). Through this program, selected corridors will be actively managed from a regional perspective with the goal of increasing throughput during the peak periods.
