Application Instructions
Your application package shall include:
- One original signed Application with required documents
- Four complete color copies of the application with required documents
- Two original signed Memoranda of Understanding
- One original signed Resolution
- One complete application with required documents on a CD or DVD in PDF format (free download)

Required Documents
First complete the two page GATEway Grant Application, then attach the following required documents in the order listed:
- Location Map Example
- Site Analysis Example
- Project Description Example
- Conceptual Landscape Drawing Example
- Cost Estimate Example
- Long-Term Maintenance Action Plan Specific to Your Project Example
- Letters of Recommendation Specific to Your Project
Additional Documentation
Be sure to include one original signed Resolution and two original signed Memoranda of Understanding with your submittal. The Resolution will be signed by the sponsoring government entity and the Memoranda of Understanding will be signed by the applicant.
NOTE: Please do not date the Memoranda of Understanding.

Judging Criteria
Project Rating Criteria Sheets will be used by Georgia DOT and the Roadside Enhancement and Beautification Council (REBC) to review and judge all GATEway Grant Applications.
NOTE: Use the Project Rating Criteria sheet as a guide when responding to the requirements of the grant application.
