Benefits of Installing Medians
The benefits of installing medians include significant accident and fatality reduction, lessening of congestion, more uniform traffic flow, pedestrian refuge and landscaping and community revitalization opportunities.

Railroad Crossing Safety
Office of Utilities administers the Federally Funded Railroad Grade Crossing Safety Program by identifying and funding safety enhancement projects at the public highway-rail grade crossings in Georgia.

Red Light Enforcement
Red light running systems are designed to improve safety and promote compliance at signalized intersections.

Safety Management and Design
Manages Georgia's Highway Safety Improvement Program, Oversized Truck Routes System and motor vehicle accidents by location systems.  Also review projects and locations for safety and operations problems.

Time Taskforce
The Time Taskforce mission is to develop and sustain a region-wide incident management program to facilitate the safest and fastest roadway clearance, lessening the impact on emergency responders and the motoring public.

Work Zone Safety
The Work Zone Safety campaign is designed to educate highway construction and maintenance workers, contractors and the motoring public about the dangerous conditions in work zones.
