Title VI Program
The Georgia Department of Transportation Title VI Program ensures no person shall be excluded from participation in, or is denied the benefits of, or is subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance from the Department of Transportation on the grounds of race, color, age, sex, disability or national origin..
Goals
The primary goal of the program is to ensure that all GDOT employees, sub-recipients (which include contractors, sub-contractors, consultants, local governments), and service beneficiaries are aware of the provisions of Title VI and the responsibilities associated with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

2012 Title VI / ADA Training Sessions
The Equal Employment Opportunity Office will be conducting several Title VI / ADA training sessions during calendar year 2012.

NOTE:Participants should register by the Monday preceding the day of training. Once the class closes participants will be placed in the next available class.
