Public Private Partnerships (P3) Program
Georgia DOT is implementing a new and innovative Public Private Partnership (P3) program that will bring much-needed transportation projects to Georgia, the size and scope of which would not be possible through traditional processes and existing funding. The end result will be increased mobility and greater choice in travel options.

Program Information
P3 projects leverage limited transportation funds by partnering with the private sector. Private industry partners are able to bring innovative approaches, both in terms of funding and project delivery methods. That means projects that simply couldn’t be constructed in today’s environment without private partners get delivered faster and with greater cost certainty than possible through traditional methods.
The solicitation of Georgia's first P3 project was initiated on February 26, 2010.
