Active Planning Studies

Atlanta to Athens
This study takes a comprehensive look at the travel patterns, economic development and land development of the entire Atlanta to Athens corridor.

I-75 Study
Georgia DOT is conducting a study on two segments of I-75: I-75 North from Atlanta to Chattanooga and the I-75 South corridor.

Connect Central Georgia Study
Georgia DOT is conducting an analysis of the overall Central Georgia corridor to identify and plan for future transportation needs impacting intra-regional mobility. The study will consider natural resources, freight, economics, and the travel patterns of the general public.

Dade County Multimodal Transportation Study
Georgia DOT and Dade County initiated a study focusing on improving connectivity, access, and safety to important locations throughout the County, including the City of Trenton, schools, commerce centers, the industrial areas, colleges, parks, and other important locations.

Dahlonega-SR52 Subarea Study
Georgia DOT has initiated a subarea study around the SR 52/Morrison Moore Parkway corridor in the city of Dahlonega. The study will look at the transportation network throughout the city of Dahlonega and how it affects the SR 52/Morrison Moore Parkway travel corridor.
